What is the hardest thing for a person to do?
This is hands down the hardest thing for a person to do.
It doesn't matter who you are or how much motivation you have, the struggle is the same.
The hardest thing for a person to do are things...
Where the natural response is to do the exact opposite
Here’s what I mean...
If you wanna eat healthy, but all you brain does is pull you to junk food, it's going to be difficult to stay healthy.
You want "one" thing, but your brain seems to have "another" agenda.
This can create "difficulty" and "struggle," because you have to fight against your brain.
Not just once, but all the time.
Which makes simple decisions feel like monumental tasks.
This applies to ANYTHING in life!
Whether you want to save, be positive, or practice patience, but the natural response is to spend, be negative, or react.
So it doesn't matter how easy something is or should be, if the brain's natural response is to do the opposite, it'll be the hardest thing for a person to do.
The stronger the opposite response, the harder it'll be to do.
This can shed light on why it’s so tough to line up your actions with your intentions
It's not because you are lazy, undisciplined or doing something wrong.
It's simply because you have to fight against your brain.
Instead of fighting the response, it helps to work on and release the response itself.
When you can do that, doing the thing becomes natural and easy.
