The first reason for burnout
Has to do with endless wants
To understand what I mean
It helps to know
The part of your brain
That creates wants and desires
Is completely unrestrained.
Your brain is creating endless wants
One after another
At a faster pace
Than any one can achieve
Your wanting mechanism doesn’t understand
That your time & energy are limited
- It simply creates wants
Not does it check to see
If your want is achievable or fulfilling
- It simply creates wants
Before you can on start on one want
It creates other wants to chase
So…
You can be working on 5 different things
But your mechanism
Will keep creating more wants to chase
When your brain creates a want
It makes you feel
That you’ll have the time and energy
Or it’ll be easy to achieve
But before you know it
You have all these things
You’ve committed to
And no time
For any of it
What’s more…
You are now living in a world of options
And those options have options
That means you now have
So many more things
Arousing your wanting mechanism
If that’s not bad enough...
You’re living in a time where your brain is seeing more people having more things
Unfortunately…
Your brain doesn’t understand
Not all of them have ALL of those things
But your brain makes it seem
They all have all those things
So…
Not only does your brain create wants for it all
It creates the feeling that
You’re falling behind
Which adds to the pressure
That leads to the burn out
So...
The first way to beat burnout
Is to get a handle
On your wanting mechanism
Know that you can’t chase
Every want and desire
Your brain creates
In the moment
It creates them
In fact...
No one can
Or ever has
The more wants a person chases
The less they are able to achieve any of them
And the more burn out they get
There is another important reason for burn out, and it comes down to
Never feeling "good enough"
In other words
If you have feelings like:
Or have other limiting beliefs like:
- I'm not pretty
- I'm not popular
- I'm bad (in some way)
These feelings will create an overwhelming push to perform
In other words
You'll have an overwhelming drive to
- Try more
- Work harder
- And put a lot of time, energy, and effort
To be successful
Or show the illusion of success
Just so you can feel "deserving"
Or that you're "enough"
But...
No matter what you do
How hard you work
Or how much you accomplish
Those feelings never go away
And so
You never feel enough
And since you don't feel enough
Your brain continues to push you
To do things to feel enough
Until you eventually burn out
In this case
The trick is not to do
What the feelings are telling you to do
But to work on the feelings themselves
That means...
Addressing the feelings of:
- Undeserving
- Not enough
- Or unworthy
Otherwise your brain
Will always pressure
You to work and try hard
Without ever making you feel
Like you're good enough
So...
It's better to start from the feelings of:
- Deserving
- Enough
- And worthy
Instead of chasing it
If you come from a place of chasing it
You'll never get there
But instead
Burn yourself out trying
Containing your wants
And removing the feelings
Is not easy
It takes a lot of conscious effort
And even then
You may not get results
What's worse...
There isn't a lot of good information
On this topic
Only misinformation
That's why I developed a method
Which I call....
the Kam Knight Method
To both
Tone down your wants
And release your unpleaseant feelings of undeserving, not enough, and more
It's 1:1 work
Where I guide you inside your unconscious mind
To release the overwhelming wants
And at the same time
The limiting feelings around your ability to achieve them
There's nothing
That works faster
Or goes deeper
Than this
