The Secret to Building

Skills, Habits, Behaviors, and Routines in Your Sleep

Welcome back

To your second guide

My name's Kam Knight

I'm a coach

International speaker

And author of a dozen books

In the area of mental, physical, and emotional performance

And...

In this guide

You'll learn

A simple way

To build skills and habits

In your sleep

Well....

Practically in your sleep

At the very least

Laying down

This has never been more important

That's because

We're now living

In a time

Where we need

To develop

A lot more skills

Whether that’s:

- Reading

- Writing

- Learning

- Organizing

- Communicating

- Managing Time

- Eating Better

- Exercising More

And MUCH more

Unfortunately...

Skills and behaviors aren’t easy to develop

They don’t form

By wanting them to form

But by spending time

On forming them

A lot of time!

First, you need to learn the skill

Then to remember and recall it

Then to do it wrong

Until you get it right

What makes this more challenging is…

The way your mind and body work

Anytime you stop using a skill

You start losing it

So...

You might spend

Weeks or months

To learn something new

But as soon as you switch to something different

You begin losing the first

That means

All the effort you put in

Goes out the window

Not because you don't have what it takes

But only because

Of the way

Your mind and body work

Luckily, there's a solution

There’s a way

To build skills and habits

And many at a time

With little to no effort

That's right

With little to no effort

And that's what you're going to learn in this guide

You see...

There is only

One way to develop

Skills, habits, and behaviors

They don't form by:

- Wanting them to form

- Needing them to form

- Or whining about them forming

Habits and behaviors form one and only one way

And that's through repetition

They form by

Repeating the habit or behavior

Over and over

The more you repeat a behavior

The more it takes form

That's it!

Now...

There's 3 ways to repeat a skill, habit, or behavior

- The first is physical

- The second is visual

- The last, and most important, is VERBAL

Verbal repetition is about

Creating statements around

The change or outcome

You want to have or happen

And repeating those statements regularly

For example…

If you have poor memory

You would repeat statements like:

  • I have an excellent memory
  • I easily remember names, dates, facts, and more

Or if you want to become more assertive

You might repeat statements like:

  • I am a calm, confident communicator
  • I easily communicate my needs and wants

On the surface

You wouldn't think

Repeating such statements

Could do all that much

But it's HUGE!

That’s because…

Words are powerful

Like water on dry soil

They seep into your brain

To create the outcome

The words describe

So, if you repeat:

  • I have an excellent memory

Your memory surprisingly

Does begin to improve

If you repeat:

  • I’m a calm, confident communicator

Your confidence actually grows

In fact…

Majority of your issues in life came from words

They came from:

- Parents saying you can’t sit still

- Teachers saying your work isn't good

- Peers and bullies making fun of you

- Advertisements making you insecure for not buying their product

They were just words

But like I said

They go inside your mind

To create the outcomes in your life

Now…

If words have the power to bring you down

They naturally have the power

To bring you up

And they do

By repeating positive words

Your mind moves you in a positive direction

It's possible to build skills and habits

With words alone

You can literally

Talk yourself to new:

  • Skills
  • Abilities
  • and Behaviors

You can even develop

Multiple skills and behaviors

At a time!

Even skills and behaviors

That seem difficult

Or out of reach

Don't believe me?

Meet Joannas

He recently took up dancing

And to be honest

He sucked at dancing

He had:

- No rhythm

- Zero coordination

- And two left feet

So, I had him start repeating the following statements:

  • I am an excellent dancer
  • I learn and pick up moves easily
  • I remember all the moves and execute them with precision and control
  • I maintain correct posture, frame, connection, and hand position throughout the dance
  • I have rhythm and soul

And after a few months

Many were amazed at his progress

Above all, he was amazed myself

What's more...

Meet Yenny

She had difficulty communicating

She would:

- Stutter
- Stammer
- And stumbled over words

It was hard for her to verbalize her thoughts

Or even get her words out

It was so bad, she often didn’t talk

And the less she talked

The worse her issue got

So, I had her regularly repeat the following statements:

  • I am an excellent communicator
  • I easily communicate my thoughts, ideas, feelings experiences, and more
  • I can verbalize anything
  • I’m never at a loss for words because the right words come to me quickly and easily

Anyone’s who’s heard her speak now

Knows she speaks extremely well

And the consistent feedback she get's is

How well she speaks

I'll go as far as to say ...

Some skills CAN'T be developed any other way

Skills like assertiveness

Require pushing past

Shyness and insecurities

Although you can

Read everything about

How to be assertive

As soon as

You go out

To do it

Your mind pulls you back

Since self-talk rewires your brain

The statements change

The shyness and insecurities

And create an inner push to do it

As a result

You hesitate less

And act more

And that's what

Building skills and habits

Are all about

All you have to do

Is repeat the statements enough

And you'll naturally

Find yourself becoming assertive

Or the other behavior

The same with confidence

You can't read a book

Or attend a seminar

About confidence

And become confident

That's because confidence

Isn't something you do

It's WHO YOU ARE

So acting confident

Is not the same

As being confident

Because self-talk

Seeps into your mind

You can self-talk

Your way to being confident

Easier than acting confident

What's great about self-talk is...

Unlike traditional ways

Of building skills and habits

That require a lot of time and effort

Self-talk only requires

Repeating some statements

And you can do that

Anytime and anywhere

While:

- Cooking

- Cleaning

- Driving

- Waiting in line

- In the shower

- In bed

You can literally

Build and improve

Skills and behaviors

While laying in bed

It’s quite magical

What's more...

You don't have to spend

Hundreds to thousands of dollars

To hire coaches and experts

Or spend weeks and months

Attending workshops and seminars

All you have to do

Is describe the outcome you want

And repeat it daily

That's it

Remember…

How you feel now

Came from words

It came from

What others said

And more importantly

What you repeated yourself

And have been

Repeating yourself

So...

If you're looking to make a change

Whether that's to:

- Start a habit

- Develop a behavior

- Or improve a skill

Start with self-talk

Begin by creating

A set of statements

That describe the

Outcome you want

And repeat the statements daily

There are many

Examples in this guide

To help you get started

With that...

If you want to learn more

You might like my book

I hope you enjoyed

This fun guide

On the easiest way

To build skills and habits

It's meant to

Be simple enough

To get you started

And starting is

The first step

To repeating

So start now

Create some statements

And begin saying them daily
